Yep! it’s here — DECEMBER! I am honestly not sure how this year passed so fast, but here we are, at Christmas. I am one of those who likes to shop throughout the year. It drives my husband crazy! He’s a last minute guy.
So this list of Christmas gift ideas for her is to help the “not quite last minute” shoppers (allow time for delivery) and those who are stumped for gifts! As an added bonus, they are not expensive and ARE useful without being utilitarian.
SWEET RIGHT HERE
Who doesn’t love a good rom-com, especially one that is NOT Christmas focused? This PG rated rom-com is set on a therapeutic horse ranch, with believable characters who you can’t help but love. They’re quirky and relatable, imperfect and endearing. From start to finish, this book will make you laugh as you cheer for love and healed hearts.
It’s a great little escape from the world of cookie baking, gift wrapping (after you buy here, of course) and kid wrangling. The book was just released in paperback at Amazon. It is also available for electronic download on Amazon Kindle or FREE with a Kindle Unlimited plan.
Drawstring Makeup Bag
I got a drawstring makeup bag earlier this year, and my daughter (age 17) calls it the “Hermione Bag.”
If you’re not a Harry Potter fan, you won’t get the reference. But, in Book 7 (I think), Hermione Granger has a purse that carries everything. And as makeup bags go, this one does the same.
I love mine so much, I don’t even unpack it anymore. In the morning, I pull it out of the drawer, open it up, and apply my makeup. When I’m done, I pull the string closed and put the bag back in the drawer.
When traveling, this awesome bag opens flat — great for using in a hotel because my stuff never has to touch the countertop.
And it’s got enough space to store jewelry, nail polish, Q-tips and other bathroom essentials.
PLANEAIRE HANDS TRAVEL SPRAY
It seems like hand santizer is here to stay for a while. And, I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of the chemical smell and drying effect of the standard hand sanitizer.
So, when I discovered PlaneAire Hands travel spray, I had to give it a try.
This product is hand made in small batches in the USA using ethyl alcohol compliant with FDA and CDC guidelines. AND, it also uses hydrating ingredients like green tea extract, aloe vera and other essential oils to soften hands.
One day recently, we stopped for gas, my gallant husband pumping the gas for me. When he got back in the car, I sprayed his hands with PlaneAire Herbal Scent. He didn’t know anything about it, and exclaimed, “What is this stuff?”
I explained.
He replied, “That feels nice on my hands.”
We both agree that the scent and the moisturizing essential oils make for a great American made product!
Rob’s favorite scent: The signature herbal with aloe, sufficiently masculine to make him like it.
My favorite scent: The tropical orange pineapple, with just enough orange and pineapple oil to make it smell fresh and clean.
Other scents are available at their store: Here’s the link!
